The Russian Bear Awakened?

Ariel Cohen has posted a good piece today at the Foundry in which he takes the Obama Administration to task for its naive approach to Russo American relations.

Has no one in the White House read a history book? Putin's calling the shots...Putin is a dyed in the wool Sov era holdover. The Russian negotiating strategy has always been to smile thinly, give no ground, and wait out the other side. When will we finally learn that the Russians respect and respond to strength and resolve? Years, perhaps two decades, of progress with the Bear are being undone in less than a year.

But that's OK, because, as we all know, we've hit the "reset button" on our approach to dealing with our adversaries.
